Honestly either would be fine. But I voted for bone.

Just wanted to mention that stainless steel would be great. I know it was. Other against. But I just wanted to get that out there.
 
Bone for me, but I will be buying at least one no matter which material wins.
 
I will not be buying a forum knife this year so I did not vote. However, I am a bit puzzled. Why is there a second vote on the scale material? I thought Micarta already won in the "Scale Material Poll" thread.:confused:

I voted in micarta just because it is something new. Some peach seed bone would be fine as well (looks like it will be bone afterall). Thank you for all the hard work

I guess it was too close to call with a 3% difference and 25% voting for another type
 
I voted micarta because I don't have a knife with that material but I'm in for one either way.
 
Linen ivory micarta, but I'll purchase whatever the final scale material turns out to be.
 
Bone is more traditional IMO, but I'm down with whatever...

Nothing wrong with bone, I carry a bone stockman everyday...

But being that last years knife had bone, I'm going with micarta.
 
I voted for jigged bone but am in regardless. If micarta wins ivory would be nice.
 
I chose Micarta (white/ivory). As some other members stated previously, this really is the last vote to select some aspect of this knife that will set it apart from a standard production model. I know a lot of tradionalists grumble at the thought of a "modern" material on this knife but I like the idea of marrying old world style w/ new world technology.

I bet that most people who voted for stag or ram's horn would prefer bone to micarta. Voting on so many scales at a time in the original poll split votes for people. Having a runoff like this makes sure the majority is truly represented between the top 2 choices.

Ivory micarta is my first choice. Then any other color micarta, followed by bone. I'll get at least 1 either way.
