I voted for Micarta with the full intention of buying one if that was the option chosen. It looks like bone is going to win and therefore I'll be opting out of this year's knife. I can get a bone handled trapper easily. The micarta option would have been something unique that I would not have wanted to miss. I'm not sure how many of the other 90 or so micarta voters feel the same way though.

I just wanted to add a note of thanks to the organizers. Even though my option wasn't picked I had a fun time going through the process and appreciate the time all the organizers have put into that process.
