Last Re-Handles: Oak + Mora

Those look awesome...freakin awesome man!

Again, many thanks guys!

Ya, I don't think I could make a profit off of these, because I couldn't keep them cheap enough. So, if I'm going to charge more, I would think that people would expect a better blade to be attached, that's why I'm going to start making the entire knives.

Oh yeah, that's what I call my "Butterfinger finish", lol!:D

I will give you guys a heads up though, since I didn't post a giveaway for my 1,000 posts, hopefully around my 2,000th post I will premier my knives with a giveaway here on WSS, hopefully I'll have a couple to three to give away to make up for it. So, stay tuned...

OK. I'm usually not a big fan of Oak on knifehandles, especially Red Oak, but dang. Those look really good. I'm impressed.

What size bit did you use to drill out the handle for the tang? Did you have to use a small bit and rout it out?

Red Oak? now THAT is a durable wood, I've made a couple long cruising skateboards out of that stuff.

Beautiful job, That is certainly something that looks a lot easier than it really is. And it doesn't really look that easy!

Sell knives immediately please.

The blade is 3/32" thick, so I drilled it out with a 1/8" drill bit. I had to drill a row of them then connect them, that part sucks.

Well, as soon as I get into another house and get shop set up, but that might be a couple of months. We'll see, perhaps I can go use boomstick's shop to get a batch started...:D

Thanks again everyone.
