March came in like a lion…

…but the foot of snow we had is starting to disappear.

Mike, I'm wondering if we have turned the corner?
The maple sap is flowing fast, and it's hard to keep up with it at the sugarhouse!

Great pics!

Great shots Mike, the snow is about all gone over here:)

Where did you go?

Tony, I was hiking up here in Litchfield County…

…Housatonic River Watershed.

Wow, not that far away and you still have a butt load of snow.... I am done w/ the snow.

Last Thursday here it was almost 80, this morning when I woke up it was 8 (Fahrenheit). Spring in Nebraska is a confusing time.

Great pictures, though, and those are some neat knives. That big bowie is very cool, and I'm not generally a fan of them.

Man Mike I gotta make it to the other end of this country some day. That is just stunning scenery!

Fantastic photos. You have some serious talent.

As for the weather report: we are getting a buttload of snow. Hasn't quit for two days. I had told my wife I was done shoveling for the year but I think I need to recant.

Great pictures, Big Mike.

Great pics Mike, I love that red handled Barkie !!!

Thanks fellows…I do enjoy taking photos in the woods.

The big Bowie is a very unusual Barkie…

…based on the limited run of 30 KSF Custom Bowies…

…it is the only one with a single quillian guard and that saber style handle has a more pronounced pinky hook, the handle material is IPE.

It has become one of my favorite field tools. :D

Hey Mike, is that Lovers Leap State Park in New Milford and Indian Valley Farm at the bottom of the hill? If so, thats my stomping grounds. I found some arrowheads just across the gorge from there--KV
