I believe the 15 has just the right size and shape to do that kind of tasks more than good , I've been planning to get me one too ,there was a small sale at Kabars but I missed it , now seems that have to wait a little bit til the guys start selling theirs[emoji38] (since I want really bad one of the stamped )hope I get lucky enough.BTW nice pics Sir !!!![]()

I was a little worried it might be to big of a blade, but the tailing point is great for getting in tight places. It's got plenty of backbone to go up the chest cavity and smaller bone. The 55 dollar price point makes it a real steal imo. It has very nice balance in my hand, with great grip in wet conditions. Surprisingly it cleaned very easy and nothing got jammed in the scales.
Finally got this! My first BK7!
Camillus made, gotta say that now I get the appeal. Never considered this model since I have a 12, but they really are quite different. Maybe it's the micarta scales on the 12 that makes it seem heavier or just the balance. This 7 feels very nimble compared to the 12. After holding both in each hand and swapping them back and forth, they really seem to weigh about the same.
I dunno, maybe just because it's new is why I'm gushing over it. Haven't gotten to work it yet so these are just initial impressions.
It seems smaller than I had imagined. I thought it would be more or less a shorter clipped 9 but its slightly smaller, approx 1/4", from spine to edge.
Thought I'd read somewhere that it was thicker than the Ka-Bar, its exactly the same.
The edge was meh and the coating was pretty marred so I took some 80, 120, and 4/0 steel wool to it. Looks pretty awesome now and is smooth.
The edge...I'm working on it. The factory edge was a bit uneven and somewhere around 25° per...I'm taking it down to what my Smiths calls 20°.

I actually don't buy Beckers anymore. Moose is running a pyramid investment scheme, and he sends me free knives so I won't rat him out.
Sign me up. Wish there was someway to get anything free. Doesnt seem to go that way for me.
Pretty much as when you got a snap on's freebie, that hard is it?[emoji23]You're doing a fantastic job keeping it under wraps... Keep up the good work!
I've worked my way up to mid level...
I'm only in it 6k!
