i had the distinct privalege of seeing just how sharp the LCC D/A blade is right from the box....i was attending a gun/knife show in memphis, tn. today and was shooting the bull with mike payne who was showing me a first production LCC D/A that had been sent back to microtech for repair due to dry firing and firing when opened manually....upon his showing me this particular knife the knife would fire on its own once closed with the blade locked shut....as he was doing this the knife fired on its own unexpectedly and startled mike who then bobbled the knife and was severely cut very deeply on his right middle or possibly fourth finger which produced copious amounts of blood....i took over his booth/tables while he went to the bathroom to wash out the wound and apply pressure...it took about 20 minutes of very frim pressure to ebb the flow of blood....he went on selling his wares to curious onlookers like nothing had happened and was actually able to make several sales during all of this....although injured, mike treated each potential customer with the same friendly banter and respect as though nothing was wrong...i helped him pack up at the end of the show and he headed out to the local ER for a tetanus booster and a few sutures...mike i hope all is well and that you continue to keep on trudging although the chips are/were down....feverdoc
