Hey Stefan! Here I am and it is now 2020. Once again you have tempted me beyond endurance so I caved and bought the new Chambriard Mi Jo. For those who know the Chambriard series the Mi Jo fits between le Compact and le Companion, however it is not a slip joint knife but rather mid lock back like le Trappeur. I love it. Now that I am getting old I find the two slip joint blades difficult to close without lopping off a finger. It sold for 125 Euros plus 18 Euros for shipping.
Now I have the whole series including the Chef's Knife with an 8 inch blade and Juniper wood handle. Ah I love French knives! Stefan you are the best. Aside from great knife reviews your videos always make me hungry as you illustrate the use of the knife in question slicing up French baguettes, sausages, cheeses and veggies and fruit. I am happily rotund now at 84 and counting! LOL!
