My anti-dream knife:

6" blade, chisel ground, Wharncliffe / sheepsfoot from 01 steel. Any handle material would be irrelevant after that. I do not like any of these individually, so I would hate this knife.

What is your least favorite? Be creative. Yes, I'm talking to you, Mr. About To Post "Anything from Cold Steel!...Hyuck..Hyuck...!"

Anything with an "Americanized" Tanto. I absolutely loathe them. It's like having a yellow, orange and green American flag.

This comes to mind.

sharp, thick handle, rough blade coat, outrageously thick blade for the size and application, hard to carry, and expensive. im ok with most blade shapes, depending on the situation, and ive had good experiences with chisel grinds. But if you cant hold the thing, the coating is rough as sand paper, it wont go in because its edge is to thick, then its useless, i hate useless things

Chisel grind, finger choil on the blade, very large finger choil on the grip, "boring bluntish drop point" shape, slick stainless steel handle, non-locking, blade under 3 inches, 5Cr13MoV steel, cheesy name, lasered graphics and/or text on the blade.

My ZT.....no I'd have to say one of the bands of cheap pocket knives I had when I was ten I'm lucky that I dident cut myself a lot...lol

Can't narrow it down to just one but if I had to pick a vendor for least favourite it would be Dark Ops.

half serrated '400 series stainless' tanto blade with the black coating from the Rat 1's, S&W M.A.G.I.C. assist, microtech-sized thumbstuds, right hand tip down only clip that leaves half the knife out of your pocket, allen wrench screw construction with screws that might as well be made of lead they are so soft, steel spacers that nick the blade when you close the damn thing, horribly torn up 'teflon' washers that are too big for the pivot post and get all shredded up, and to top it all off, a 'rescue' strap cutter on the spine of the blade that fish-hooks your pocket every time you try to take it out, tearing up your pocket even though the thing isn't sharp enough or executed well enough to even cut a shoelace in 15 minutes, let alone a seatbelt or pant leg in an emergency.

This is definitely what I would consider the worst imaginary knife for me, and I'm lucky enough to have a roommate who would consider this the greatest creation ever. He'd carry it around at parties so he can have something 'cool' to whip out to scoop the jello shots out of the little cups.

Partially serrated, bead blasted, Americanized tanto blade, tip down only carry, rubber inserts in handle, made by a company with scumbag business ethics, with the owner's name etched on the blade. The irony is that I own this knife, and will never sell it. It's a Microtech Mini Socom auto, and it has sentimental value, which is why I still carry it sometimes.

yea...:barf: this has just about everything I hate about a knife. Cheesy coating, useless "saw back" Whats with those serrations on the top of the tip? The "americanized" tanto I think is hideous, all be it useful maybe I still hate it. It has the gut hook on it which I don't care for and this one is placed so it looks completely useless IMO. That handle looks like crap and feels worse probably.

Thanks A.P.F. I'm going to have to suffer from nightmares now lol. I'll wake up in cold sweats because of this monstrosity.

Ok here goes, but be warned it's a terrible thing to think about.

Black coated, fully serrated chisel ground Wharncliffe with lettering all over the blade that includes the word "Tactical". Blade steel is "Surgical Stainless", Spyder hole, very thin liner lock, cheese grater G10 ala Emerson, tip down only but still with a lanyard hole. 3/4" thick overall and incredibly wide.

And here's where it gets terrible. It's a gift from my wife and I have to carry it and act like I like it because she spent a lot of money on it trying to be nice.

Ugh... It hurts just thinking about it.

Hawkes Hellion comes to mind, and anything like that Mantis style knives. I even hate the Blackwater knives.

My BenchMade 755 in M390. Great knife...too great, in fact. It's like holding onto a short log. Useless as the proverbial...
Got it for a gift....after I'd requested it. I hate it; I'll keep it forever.
