least-tacticool hard-use folders?

Downtown,

Go to Blueline Gear and see if you can get on their Hinderer list. He usually gets them knives when he finishes up batches, and they go by order on the list. It may take you awhile, but you'll eventually get one.

Also, the Gen 3"er is supposed to be coming out sometime VERY soon, and while that blade will also be ground out-of-house, all of the rest of the knife is machined, and tooled and assembled by Rick, as are the full size xm-18's. Watch BlueLine and Rick's forum at USN for details.

Might also want to look into a Graham Bros folding Razel. Stunning little knife with great utility, rock-solid warranty, and good people behind it.

As for Strider, I doubt they will ever get any money from me.

Dave...when you get a chance hit me up. I would suggest staying away from the Benchmade trainer unless someone gives you one. If you want a Bali trainer, get yourself a new Typhoon kit knife (they come with rounded, dull edges now) and build it yourself. That'll cost you 80$ versus the 160$ BM wants for their sub-par trainer, and you'll get to design it's appearance and play with building a knife as well. Check this thread and go to Pete's website:

If you need more info, holler at me. Taping the edge of your 42 will be pretty effective at learning as well. Matter of fact...hit me with a PM
