Leather sheaths

An old pencil sheath I made for my artist/wife - from moose hide!!View attachment 3095160
I had to do that roll/button knot recently for a project. Been so long since I'd done one that I had to look it up. First YouTube vid I come across is a long time buddy, Carlos showing how to do that knot. My daughter and her boyfriend are at The King of the Hammers a HUGE jeep, off road, rock crawler annual deal out in the desert. They got there on Sunday and are still out there, heading back today I believe. Literally like 50,000 people there at this deal its huge. They're pulling in and a guy is walking across the road. She yells out "Carlos." He turns and looks but he doesn't recognize her as she was like 12 the last time he'd seen her and now she's 29. She takes off her sunglasses and he goes "Holy Cow!" What's the chances of that 1 out of 50,000?

I used to own a retail custom leather goods store in Vancouver, called "The Leatherbox" 1974-75. Built it from a closed derelict store, and got an offer I couldn't refuse in 1975!! Rolled leather buttons were featured on a lot of my custom bags!!
Some odd, leftover pics!!

I just spent a few minutes in my very cold garage taking very hurried photos of my fixed blade with their Sheaths . I never keep any knife in it's sheath when it is not being used . I use a few of them as Neck Knives outside therefore the cords on the sheaths . A few of them were gifts . The 225 Q was bought at an property auction at a WWII Veteran's place . I do have a few that I keep in the house that I never use . Positioned in the perceived age Left to Right . Sorry but the one on the left was gifted to me by retired Hormel employee and the sheath is not Leather .
