Leatherman Warranty, happy but not happy

They don't seem to bother with repairs. They probably go into a big pile for scrap. Just as easy for them to ship out a new one.

Sometimes they fix. Over the last 14 years I needed repairs on a seriously abused PST II, an over-torqued CS4 and a Surge with binding implements. All were done quickly and well, looking (almost) like new.

I wished I new that early on. I had one of the original waves, the first version. it opened like a balisong, but I used the phillips blade to torque a pneumatic screwdrivewr and chewed it up.It's funny,when I walked down the hall the darn thing used to clack in the sheath.
