That would be a great story to share if you do. I know when I go on overnighters I always think of that chapter when I pack my gear. How little can I get by with and still be comfortable if I had to travel a vast distance without resupply. I know on my hike into my campsite i'm always left thinking i'm taking too much crap again lolAlthough my dream is to do a long wilderness trek like the one that Nessmuck describes in "Woodcraft", nothing but my shotgun, fishing kit and 15 or 20 pounds of gear and 60 miles or so of wilderness, I think I might try to plan it next fall.
