Leek with no markings?

hey guys,
im fairly new to kershaw. i have collected microtechs' and others but after getting caught with a microtech udt in my bag at the airport (my wife put her purse in my carry on bag and she left her udt in there :(. ) i missed my flight and got a ticket for 500 bucks for having an auto!
anyway, i love autos and sa knives so i decided to pick up a couple kershaws after reading that article in blade when the rainbow leek first came out back in like 2004 i think.

i first got a chive and the first week i had it the blade bent. im not fond of the 420 steel blade. it seems to sharpen so fast and easy but its to soft for a small knife even in light duty imo. but if your just learning to sharpen knives i highly recomend it! easy to get a bur on it and get the concept.... anyway, my wifes rainbow leek has seen some crazy abuse over the years and the lock up is still just plain amazing. so i figured id look for a leek that is not rainbow colored and hopefully with a high quality blade steel and i found the 1660cgt on e bay.

mine too it sterile on the side w/o the clip. i just got it today so i cant comment much except the lock up is zero blade play and like any other kershaw out of the box ,,,,its freakin razor sharp! ya gotta love that! kershaw must be the sharpest knife ootb i have ever seen. microtech, benchmade, sog, al mar, even a sebie can't go up against a chive outta the box.

for the past 2 months i have been carring a SOG twitch 2 and i really dig it! but, im going to put the sog down for a while and break this baby in. so far i cant put it down! very happy with the feel!

BrBl5, no you didn't get taken.

The 1660CGT is a rare real deal. S30V, coarse G-10 scales. There were only 249 plain edges produced. Nice find for sure.

Welcome to the forums btw, I hope you will look to hang around some.

Thanks for the info. I bought one, too and I was curious as well. The knife itself, well it's... I have this urge to see if I can still find another. :)

I got a 1660CGT sent to me accidently, that I sent back to be replaced with the 1660PGT. Maybe I should have kept it, and reordered the other. Anyway, I love the 1660PGT.
