Legit Ammo Sites?

I haven't had a problem getting .22... as long as you pay attention and can check their sites regularly. Ammunition to go and palmetto state have kept me happy. Just have to catch it. Ammo to go is very good about updating their Facebook if you have a Facebook.

I get everything else i need from Academy. No problems.

Sorry but would have to say your lying. All 22 ammo is unreliable cause it's a weak , dirty, round and it doesn't have the power to push the slide back and make the casing eject and get another round in chamber. Lots of FTE's FTF's with any 22 ive shot or brand ive tried. HK MP5 , Colt , Ruger, Browning, Phonenix Arms, pistols ,rifles all these i have a round fail every 25 round or so sometimes more sometimes less with better quility gun or ammo.

Learn how to clean a gun. You don't have to do it very often, but you do have to clean .22 autos once in a while.

What has been said above. You have to match what you are shooting with the ammo you are using. .22 ammo is the pellet of the powder gun world. Try shooting different pellets from high end pellet guns. Not talking daisies here. You absolutely must match ammo to the gun you are using to find what works best. You get totally different patterns with different ammo. And you have more issues with firing powder ammo using it with different types of fire arms. What works well with one type of gun will not work well in another gun. If you want what works best in your gun you have to pay to play. You must experiment.

I think everyone is in titled to their own opinion. Personally, I love Remington Golden Bullet. Works great in my gun, but that doesn't mean that it's "the best" because every gun is different. Semi-Auto, Auto, Bolt, Lever action, are all different, so of course different ammo's will cycle differently. I think that if an ammo works good for you, great. Ammo failure occurs in every calibure, just as failure to eject and failure to cycle happens with every gun. No ammo is perfect, as is no gun, so you are bound to have some issue. Personally I Find that I have a problem ever 45-55 rounds but for 8 cents (when I'm lucky) I'm not complaining :)

Ulf, you have problems then. I have a few .22 firearms that I don't recall having a single problem with running good ammo. Ruger mkiii has over 1000 rounds of cci... never a problem wth the ammo or gun.

I don't have problems really. I do get a FTF FTE every 50-100 rounds or so and if you don't i don't believe you. Sorry. It's a dirty rimfire cartridge. If you dont have problems you don't shoot your guns enough. Never shot a 22 that didn't have a miss fire while shooting through 100 rounds or sooner. Only 22 i have right now is Ruger 10/22 carbine version and Phoenix Arms HP 22 with both 3" and 5" barrels . Had problems with the mags on Phoenix at first but now is 100%. And yes i know everyone is gonna say the Phoenix arms 22 sux too but has been absolutely great to me and for $115 can't be beat except the sights do suck.:)Ruger is the one have miss fire every 100 rounds but thats the same way when ive shot other Hk Mp5, Colt M4, Ruger MkIII or 22/45, Browning.Only gun that have shot 22 without problems is Ruger 22 revolers and "leglog had a point on that if thats all he shoots 22 wise is revolvers or lever actions maybe has less problems than semi-autos shooting 22" I mostly got pissed some csukers said Remington makes junk ammo and they "suck". I haven't had a problem with them. Maybe some do i don't. Winchester white box i did have a problem with and maybe others don't so i wont say it completely f**kin sux cause i don't like to piss on others peoples opinions usually until they do on mine. I can't believe people have zero issues with 22 cause it is the most dirty ammo there is and see people have the most problems with period. I clean my 22 after or during shooting 22 depending how many rouns go through itSINCE IT IS THE MOST DIRTY ROUND THERE IS THAT I CAN THINK OF YOU HAVE TO CLEAN THEM CONSTANTLY. Goopey mess inside barrel and chamber after 200-300 rounds.Don't want to get into it anymore cause like this place to much and my account to get anymore infractions saying certain stuff. Had bunch of knives come in the mail yesterday so i am happy. Wish everyone well.

You do have a problem (with something) if you're consistently having stoppages 4% of the time you fire and with something else if you accept that as normal.

I think it's 1% or 2% . 1 or 2 out of 100 could be wrong about that and thats with Federal not with Remington not cause i dont like remington just like federal more since made in MN. you called me a liar first by saying remington is junk ammo and for me it has been descent you attacked my word first. im done with you. GFY. I could turn around everything you say but just don't care enough to. Not the first time we've disagreed eh? Your entilted to your opinion and so am i. you are indeed the most knowledgable gunnut here. I just don't care. Everytime guns get discussed here turns into catastrophe. Or mabye it's just me and you have opposite opinions and life experiacnces.:) Got nothing against you. Are you trolling me? Good luck to you sir. I'm done. :)

and "leglog had a point on that if thats all he shoots 22 wise is revolvers or lever actions maybe has less problems than semi-autos shooting 22"
Where did you get that's all I shoot? Beyond lever action .22LR rifles, I also own and shoot an autoloader (i.e. semiautomatic), turnbolts, a falling block, and slide actions in .22LR rifles as well as double and single action revolvers and double and single action pistols in .22LR handguns. I've been an instructor for a long time so have as many .22LR rifle and handgun action types and magazine types as possible.

My experience regarding regular universal stoppages due to .22LR cartridges, regardless of manufacturer or load, has never equated to what you post your experience has been. That is fact and not a lie. Not surprisingly, My experience seems to be mirrored by the experience of others here too.

Just yesterday you posted you always experienced 1 stoppage out of 25 cartridges. That's 4%.

And, no, I did not call you a liar (first or otherwise), but I'm tempted to now. I did raise the BS flag on you though.

I buy either from Natchez or Lucky Gunner. If I'm looking for something that neither of these sites have in stock, I hit Gunbroker.

My daughters will blast through a box of 525 Federal Champions in a day. The ONLY FTF is when they try to get speedy on the trigger. That is my tried and true 1022 from the early 80's and a Marlin 795. Both semi-autos.

The panic of 2013 wasn't the first, and it won't be the last. You avoid the panics by keeping 1-2 years of ammunition and/or loading components on hand. I was surprised by the number of OLD shooters caught off guard by the 2013 panic. Wasn't the first panic they witnessed. They should have learned their lesson. From what I can discern, they still haven't learned the lesson, even after 2013. Of course, many of those same people will complain that I'm a "hoarder" when I still shoot what I choose every week and they have no ammo and can't find any. Live and learn.

Words of wisdom right here. I don't shoot nearly as much as you all from the sound of it, but can only remember 1 or 2 stoppages in probably 2-3K rounds in my Ruger Mark 2. If I had 1 out of 100, I'd sell the gun, no matter what was at fault. Period.
