Les George Assassin

Lethal force training? Like the training I got in the army? Probably not... what any lethal force training would have to do with the name of a knife being used in court is beyond me but good to know your a real life bad ass.
The point being when a DA presents your weapon to a jury having things like ASSASSIN on it isn’t a good thing but I’m sure you’ll disagree. ;)

My point was your not even going to have an issue if its justified cause you won't be charged. If its a clear case of actual self defense they arent going to be looking at the name of your knife to try to nail you. Thats why I said name a case where a justifiable self defense scenario has happened yet the person got completely ef'd because of the name of their knife... oh yeah you cant.. yet everyone still wants to argue and say stupid things like good luck in court with that knife...and im not even trying to defend the name of the knife which is the ridiculous thing here. I hate it and think its a stupid name. But nobody is out there getting prosecuted for a JUSTIFIABLE self defense situation because of the name..

I think you are missing the point, somewhat. Nobody thinks that someone will be prosecuted because of the name...but a cursory viewing of the news these days shows folks being prosecuted for what would appear to be straight up self defense...because of various societal issues at the moment. (That's about as benign a way as I can put it, you'll just have to think about what is coming up in current events.)

In such an instance, where there is a decision to go forward and try the individual, even if it appears to us as legitimate self defense, there is the chance that the defendant will be made out to be filled with blood lust and racial, ethnic or other type hatred...and supported by his carrying a knife known as XYZ.

That's where the death by a thousand cuts comes in. It's all about painting a picture that they want to get across.

If that's not clear, it's probably clear you haven't spent much time in America's courtrooms.

I think this horse has been whipped enough and I'll let that be my last comment on the topic.

That is an interesting knife handle for sure. I don't know if the OP ever said, was it mokuti? Some others have raised interesting questions about the lock face durability on such a knife, but I am guessing that a knife like this is more of a collector piece than a carry piece, which probably also means that whether it's called the Ninja Death Assassin, Slayer of Thousands or the Knaf Model 287 is probably not hugely relevant, since it'll never be used as a weapon.

The handle is Zircuti from Chad Nichols. I've had mine for a few months and I love it. It's been a great EDC knife for me (opening packages, cutting rope, food prep...).
I think guys are reading too much into this and giving full titanium locks more credit than they deserve. Yes, full Ti is stronger than some Ti, but titanium isn't that strong in the first place. That's why they add steel interfaces.
Since I use my knives hard at work, I don't use framelocks. And if I'm goin to carry a folding knife for self defense, a framelock would definitely not be my first pick.

The stripes weren’t quite straight enough on my first one, but this one should be perfect.
I’ve had the first one for about a year now, and I still love it. Haven’t assassinated anyone yet, but it holds up quite well to everyday use. Lock up is just as good as when I got it. Doesn’t fall shut (wouldn’t want it to anyways), but the action is very smooth and flicks quite nicely. The ano on the titanium has worn down some, but the copper now has a dull patina that blends into the zirconium. It’s going to look great as it ages.
I’m definitely on the lookout for more George M3s.
