So, you're saying you like them, then...?LG models don't translate amazing in photos. They look a bit pedestrian in design and execution. But I'll tell you this. Once it's in your hand, it's a whole different ball game. They feel amazing, everything smooth and worked over. Action and lockbar are second to none. Locked up solid, excellent geometry, heat treat and the best stonewash on the planet. Once you try a few, then you see the designs totally differently, for what they really are..

Getting to meet and know makers that you respect and whose work you gravitate toward is very rewarding.Didn't hurt that I got to meet him and have a chat at BSTX while he set my CC on fire. It was a pleasure.
Even a happy ending when "approved" read on the display. Boom, like hitting a triple bonus on a slot machine. lol

I've been fortunate to have made several friends, some of whom have even visited or stayed with us in the past.
I agree with this completely. My love for LGs is definitely more towards the functionality and ergonomics rather than the aesthetics. The wow factor happens when you finally get one in ya hands. Also had a conversation with Mr. McNees. Also a really cool, down to earth kind of gentleman. I was amazed that both took the time to talk with a nobody around there. What a sport this is.

I'm very happy with my LG, Mitch. I've considered others...but I haven't quite found the next one to jump on...though I've come close.I agree with this completely. Oh and you don't have to hold them like a sickly baby bird to avoid putting pressure on the lockbar. lol
Doesn't bother me much but it did take a little active learning on the macs.
My next recommendation would be the Myna. Rivals the vecp for my overall favorite. Very snappy flipper with great ergos on the grip and the reverse tanto is a fun blade to use. I wasn’t a reverse tanto fan till I got this knife. It’s an excellent design.I will disagree with you about the "nobody" aspect. Most makers I have met have been salt of the earth types, who are good folks, the sort you enjoy having a beer or two with. Don't sell yourself short. A maker who would look down his nose at you, isn't worth knowing.

I know nothing of the McNees knives, so can't comment.
Just wasted time you’ve could have been spending with your Myna! The Myna was the most recent one I hemmed and hawed over.
