Photos "Less is more" style knives

Searched but couldn't find a thread dedicated for simple, clean and elegant "less is more" designs.

I'll start off with my grail folder which sadly I do not own.... and even if I did I probably couldn't bring myself to give it the abuse that such a beautiful utilitarian design deserves. The MBK XLC:

I have one of the XLCs & the smaller EZC. They've been out of the packaging to play with, but neither has ever been used. I just like the Laconico Keen from Massdrop better better.

The Keen is gorgeous as well, but something about the symmetry of the XLC and the EZC just speaks to me.

You have excellent taste and I am jealous! :D

I'm a straight-up "hard use" fixie guy.

When I think of a "Less is More" knife, my mind is immediately drawn to the CPK (*"Carothers' Performance Knives") "Basic" Super Duty Field Knife...

Beyond the "Delta 3V" steel, there is NOTHING about this ^^^ knife that screams "FANCY!". Basically (*no pun intended), it's "all GO and no SHOW".

I get a kick when folks ask about its performance as a "chopper" (*based on the Carothers' rep), as I don't think that-that was its primary design. As its name implies, I think of it as just a bomb-proof "Field Knife", not a "chopper". (*Nathan and Jo are MORE THAN WELCOME to correct me if I'm wrong)

You can "camp" with it, "hike" with it, "food-prep" with it, "hunt" with it, and even "defend" yourself with it...and NEVER have to worry about damaging it.

In my mind, much like my beloved TOPS 107E, it's one of the quintessential bomb-proof "Field Knives".*

Fox Core, Elmax and natural canvas (I think) micarta. It is pretty simple, with the old school micarta and wire clip. Having a flipper tab and a hole makes it less less-is-more, but there are no extra angles or colors, and except for the blade steel and build quality it could be a less expensive knife.

I like the idea of a high end steel in a more democratic handle, I think that provides less flash and glitz while still giving outstanding performance and the right to brag. My Fox knives are getting some use!

Kizer Feist, 154CM and blue denim micarta. Elegant without being elegant. Less without being more. Simple, yet complex. Or something.
