Have the police contacted John?

Will John have to testify? How do they do that in these across the sea cases? I've never seen one before.

You've sure done a fine job and I would think that the culprit would get a chance to make restitution in hope of getting a lighter sentence, so getting the money back might even still be a possibility.

Thanks for all your work and effort to get this guy busted!

Makes me appreciate all the smooth deals I've had over the net and with other forum members.

There are scum everywhere and sadly a lot of them are living on Ebay now. To make it worse, I don't think Ebay even cares.

I have only had one bad deal thus far. However, I think they are becoming far more common on Ebay these days.

Hiya Roc...

In actual fact its easier than you think.

The guy will be accused of e-fraud as well as defrauding ebay and John.

When the guy is arrested they will be in touch with me (I already have given one statement) and I have forwarded the note from John Burton (FBI) report. Once the Police have him then things will move much quicker. If the Police in the UK need to speak to John then I have the information for them. So basically I have everything covered I think.

All I have done is acted at a go between.. the police think that John Burton is my step brother (really dont know why ;) )

But I will wait and beleive me... if I can I will get a picture of the bast@rd. And post it on here so you can all laugh at him.
 
Course... I wanted the "easy" way to happen.

Go up there
Find him
Beat him up
take pics of him begging and saying sorry to JB
Take Knives
Take money back
Give him another kick
Send all knives and money back to JB4570

Things never work out the way you want.
 
Hey Guys,

First...let me say thank you for all of the support from all of you....what a great group of knife nuts we are here. Second..it's not our place to sit in judgment over this guy....a higher power will get the justice that's due....although it tuff to turn the other cheek -vs- an eye for an eye......one thing is sure with out the help from my British Bulldog mate Ma.....this guy would have continued his wicked ways and maybe bitten another un-educated knife nut one day. I'd love to hear that this guy broke down in tears when the cuffs are on his wrists. Thanks again guys and keep them blades sharp.

Mav is correct this whole event has given me a new friend and that's to cool for school. I can't repay him for all that he has done for me...and he will not take any money for what he has spent out of pocket trying to find this guy....he's a true friend...my mate on the other side of the big pond!!! Knee cap knife handle's...LOL

That's a bit extreme Mav. I would be happy with one of the knee cap ashtrays, getting John all his knives he paid for...except two...one got lost in the UK :rolleyes: and one "accidently" shipped to a Goose.
