Lest We Forget . . . . September 11, 2001

Smoke and prayers to those who have lost, and to the brave who serve, and have served, to keep us safe every second of every day for eight years since that september.

A special drink for you all while watching the beams over manhattan tonight.

Agreed.

Thank you to all who have and do serve to protect our safety and freedoms. I'm a Desert Storm veteran myself, having served 3.5yrs.

And f--k BinLadin and everyone else in the world who sympathizes with such lunatic fanaticism. Worse than camel dung...

On a side note, anyone else notice the similarity between jbombelli's avatar and RoyalM's who posted one after another?

I'd like to send a northbound missile like that up OBL's southbound exhaust vent... ;)

Jerry

Thanks for saying it, and thanks for making this forum a place where it can be said.

M.

God bless the fallen & those who fight.

Very well said, Jerry. The most that us old folks can do is say a daily prayer for those serving our fine nation. Oh, and don't forget that when you see a table of our service men and women in a resteraunt to drop a $20.00 bill on them. The appreciation that they will express is worth hundred time that small gift.

That and I always give them whatever cigars I have with me. Seen a few 'discussions' started over who gets what smoke;)

Thanks Jerry!!! This needed to be said today of all days...
"We Will Never Forget" Smoke and Prayers to all the families of the lost, and to those who continue the fight to this day and there families as well.

So many brave men and women made the ultimate sacrifice on this date, 8 years ago, and so many more have died since then in the defense of freedom.

Our daily thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the families of those who have served, and those who have fallen.

If only our president could have put it so eloquently and without spin.

Never forget. God Bless America!

Many thanks from your neighbors up north.

We've got our own men in combat but it was you guys who gave the big push.
I'd like to say that hopefully things will be resolved reasonably soon, but realistically the fight for freedom is never over.

May we all keep vigilant.

Never worry, my fellow Americans.

The men and women of my profession will never forget and never forgive. We are working night and day and we will never stop.

A tall SALUTE to all of those who have served our great nation. I witnessed something spectacular this afternoon while driving home from work. One of the routes that I normally take is through an intersection where several folks gather on Friday afternoons displaying the American flag and waving to the honorable men and women who are leaving MacDill AFB. This intersection is now known as "Patriots Corner". Today was something SPECTACULAR. There must have been 300 folks, firemen, fire engines, police and of course men in women in military attire. Everyone was holding either an American flag or a flag of one of our allies who are working at SOCOM at MacDill AFB (GB, France, Germany, Netherlands and on and on). Traffic can to a crawl. I honked my horn and shared my appreciation. Sorry no pics to share.

Great post Jerry and all members here.

I figured most people had forgetten. Least this little corner of the world is sane.
