Lest We Forget . . . . September 11, 2001

By a strange coincidence, while I was reading this thread, my wife, (an American), was watching a doco about 9/11 on TV. I watched it for a bit and it occurred to me that all those objecting to America, (and it's allies like Oz), fighting the good fight in places like Iraq and Afghanistan should be forced to watch that doco and then explain why they object.

My personal thanks to America for helping to rid the world of the scum that did that.

And then we have the "leaders" of nations like BHO who sanctioned this sacred day as a "day of service" to forget those who conducted these terrible acts against the free word. WTF over.

Forget?? NEVER.

How can anyone forget anything about that day?
The many lives lost and the sheer devastation & chaos created...
The many first-responder heroes that ran towards what everyone else was trying to escape...
The handful of determined individuals who spread mayhem & misery forth like ripples in a pond in the name of their cause...
Or the handful of upstanding citizens managed to band together and snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat even though they paid for that victory with their lives.

The weird thing that haunts me still is how so much tragedy & destruction could happen on such a beautiful day... :(:(:(

Never Forget.

THANK YOU to all those who serve, whether here at home or abroad. You all are already heroes each & everyday.

I lost a few friends that day..... And sad to say another soon. He developed lung cancer from being at ground zero that day and weeks after. Sad to say he is losing the fight with cancer. Reminds me all the time why we are overseas doing what were doing... It def started a new age for this country and the world. I'm happy for my friends on the fire department that survived ... and my wall street buddies that made it out of the towers in time. We get together when we can...

Never Forget, Never Forgive, and Never Fall.

God Bless our Country, those that serve and still believe in what it stands for.

I still remember that day in our office, as we were watching the news...
That day the "across the Pond"-expression was totally meaningless.
I felt as it was happening with me, right there where I am.
and that was real.

Amen. A day for respecting all sacrifices and ending political bickering, and remembering our joint loves and responsibilities.

Remember New York! Never forget!!

And take it to them!! Till the job is done.
