Not sure how I missed this the first time 'round... a really neat thread, Jack.

I have on of those Al. Fantastic set and they really are great simple knives that really hold an edge

Thanks Al, that's a really nice matching pair pair

Jack, you sure have a lot of fascinating knives that fit this category! And you've posted many recently that didn't show up in this thread's "initial hurrah" a couple of years ago. May I conclude that those are all relatively recent acquisitions (or simply one's you've had for ages, but it took 2 years to actually find them ;))? I really like the Queen's coronation commemorative, and the currency converter (I think I've seen your converter in some other thread).

I have one more relevant knife. It's another product of the Novelty Knife Co., and is my low-budget, little-patience substitute for some of the fine old brass handled knives I've seen. I may end up giving it to my wife, since she has 3 dogs! (Not sure what the discoloration is near each end of the mark side.)

Thanks, Gevonovich! I agree and they cut like a laser. I think they came in 3 or 4 different motifs. Haven't looked for 'em lately, but they're on the to-get list :)

Thanks, Jack!

After seeing GT's Zorro Barlow, I couldn't resist ordering one of these for myself. (Sorry, Jack. I couldn't find an Annie Oakley one for you) Just to remind myself that knife collecting doesn't have to be so serious:

Tarzan!!!
