KAAK,

Have you ever considered starting your own business?

--Mike

not yet... the owner here is AWESOME... and i am enjoying learning under him... if i did, i would move to the bahamas and sell infi and trunk monkeys to tourists

Also, the damn mountain exploded while I was inside at work, and dammit if it wasn't all done by the time I got home. So no pics. Stupid dumb volcano.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEET... the local air force zoomies are buzzing the city again.. love the sound of freedom... ZOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM :D

WHAT HAPPENED N?????

I worked for one day for somebody else (as a comic book illustrator). That was all it took for me to realize I wanted my own business. I started my first business (Mike's Tie-Dye Works) when I was 15, with just $24 dollars invested.

Cool. When I lived in Sacramento, I lived next to the Air Base and got to watch the F111 Swing Wing Fighters do training manuvers. Never minded a bit when they woke me up early on a Saturday morning.

I wasn't trying to say that you need to start your own business. I was just explaining that I prefer it that way, and making clear that it doesn't need to be hard.

Mt St Helens erupted (sorta, just a lil' ash and steam) while I was at work. I was gonna run up the butte and take pics if it'd wait til I got home, but alas, nope.

Behind my house is a nice tall butte that you can get a pretty good view of St Helens (which is about 50miles north of Portland).

I was looking at St. Helens from the airplane, and then from Rainier, a few weeks ago (before the fog and hail rolled in). St. Helens was looking pretty calm, then.
