By the way, if I'm remembering right, Busses are tempered at 1,100 degrees F. I don't know of any other makers tempering nearly that hot.

Not that it matters, much. interesting, though. At least to me.

i learned something new... that's cool

Thanks, again, for the link.

Indeed, it looks like there are some ceramics that might be able to take the heat. That is assuming that the magma is not much hotter than its melting point. I assume that mgma can come out a lot hotter than its minimum melting temperature. Is that true?

GOOD GOD  i tried to read what i missed in this thread before i realized it has 163 pages of stuff that is incoherent to sober people :(

Its not really deja vu. You are actually stuck in a time loop, doomed to repeat this Death Chat over and over again throughout eternity!!!!

Considering that it can flow for miles, I'd say that is true. Not sure about the heat capacity of rock, but it seems logical. Maybe The Discovery Channel on the web has something on it?

Actually, wicthhunter, most of the posts came from people who were completely sober. They were the only ones able to keep awake. Those posts are gibberish from sleep deprivation, not drunkenness.

Anyhow, once the wife get's home I'm bailing out on the Death Chat, she'll kill me if I spend another evening doing this. She thought I was nuts the first night.
