Not personally. It belongs to our gun crew.. A museum quality 1861 10lb Parrott Rifle. Range is over 5,000yards but we compete at 100 and 200 yards. (Not many commercial ranges longer than that here in the NE) Out west they shoot at 600 yards. We shoot 8 lb lead projectiles with about 5 oz of powder. Full charge is about 1 lb powder but don't need a hell of a lot to punch holes in paper at 100/200 yards. Won overall national championship last month in NY. Have cannon set up at New England Antique Arms show here in Hartford this weekend.

Hey... I have a question about cannon balls... how were they made and how did they explode when they hit the ground or is that all hollywood phoey?
