Can you give me more info about what you're looking for in a digicam? What price? Are you a snaphooter or a dedicated and careful composer? What it the intended final output (i.e., small web pix? large prints for your wall? small shots in circulars and newspaper ads?)? How much experience do you have? Etc.

I'd like to stay within the $400.00 range and am mainly looking to post pics for classified ads on the forums.
 
If all you need is for your pictures to look good in the classified ads on the forums, then any camera should do. Buy the cheapest you can find. You should be able to find something suitable for below $100, I think. Look in the used market, perhaps.
