E, what are the most important feature to look for in a Digital camera? I'm mainly going to use it for taking pics of knives and some outdoor stuff.

I haven't been on Spearhead's forum for a while. I used to go there, a lot. Somehow, my account seemed to stop working. I never bothered to take care of it because I have had so little time for forums (I live outside and travel, most of the time), anyway. His forum could be kinda slow, because it didn't get that much traffic. there was a lot of levity, which can be fun, but I go to forums more for the meat than for the fluff. When something was discussed seriously on Les's forum, it was discussed in much greater depth, by people who actually really knew what they were talking about, than you find on most other forums. For that reason, I liked it a lot. I also liked that there was no anonymity, no BS, no flaming, etc.

"People will always gossip and to each man his own.. your pics flugin' rock"

Thanks, B!

Can you give me more info about what you're looking for in a digicam? What price? Are you a snaphooter or a dedicated and careful composer? What it the intended final output (i.e., small web pix? large prints for your wall? small shots in circulars and newspaper ads?)? How much experience do you have? Etc.

I think all three of us have pushed our abilities to blather on to their very limits, and should be "proud". :D
