people can rate you, add points to your rep, better your rep, the more that people should think its easy to do a good deal with you. Trust indicator kinda, like posting in GB&U. This forum doesnt use it as much as some other forums do.

I have to spread some around before it will let me give you more. Does that so you dont just have two people giving each other huge amounts.
 
I was up late partying here in SC but I fell asleep trying to read 40 pages of Death Chat! I woke up and now I'm with ya. I also just finished cooking 3 racks of pig ribs with my soon to be famous Spicy Hot Peanut Butter B-B-Q sauce.

Shaggi, thanks for always gettin' me what I wanted from the Busse shop. Now it's time to decimate the stock at Swamp Rat Knife Works.
 
There is not a ratio, you start with a certain number of points, if someone gives you good feedback, then it goes up. Bad, it goes down.
 
You know how someone is doing by moving your mouse over the green dot, or just counting how many they have. one green dot is average, the more the better.
If you get red dots, thats bad
 
So, does 18 mean +18, i.e., that I'm well into positive territory?

And how do I view your rating score?

all it tells someone else is what catagory you are in, ie on a distiguished road for most everyone. It would be different if anyone had two green squares, then they are in a different catagory, higher up.
 
yeah, it depends on people not making it personal, thats why you have to spread it around some before you can give it to that one person again.

I do like the idea of increasing iteration, but it seems like it would be much more telling to read through somebody's past posts, if one really wants to know about somebody.
