Alright Hogs!

Check this out.

I got to go on a weekend outing a couple weekends ago with one of my best friends and 20 new ones:thumbup:

THis is there 7th or 9th annual and I hope to go next year.

THe host has access to an 1800's period home near Arcadia,VA. We floated the upper James, had a blast, drank alot and caught some fish. This was the first morning and the worst rapid was within a few hundred yards of our launch site. Anyway, after staying up most of the night and taking folks to have a car at the takeout....I was one of the last to launch:D So we thought we would paddle real hard and catch up:D

Next time I will walk down and screw em all;)

SO grab your popcorn and enjoy. Just so you know I am in the back of the red canoe that goes airborne:) THe 2nd time with music and edit is even better:D

Oh man that is funny.... Esp since you flipped on no more than a weak classII at best:D

Tip- Both people should never lean way over the same side of canoe at same time!

Just giving you a hard time...:p

BTW- you may want to check into those side mount flotation thingies...you know the ones kinda like training wheels:D

LMAO!

HAHAHAH!

YEah my first time on real moving water. Canoes have to be one of the most unstable things Ive ever been in. Iv used em to get to duck blinds and such but never moving and never lit:)

I will say the perspective coming down was alot worse than the video looking back upstream .:D It doesnt look near as bad as I had remebered it either:D

but,

Look at the height of the fall though compared to our body size prior to video starting. THe little fall is not much smaller than we are and you cant see that we were both paddling as hard as we could go till we saw it

when its in slow motion you can see a bag or small cooler go flying out..LMAO!

IT was a good thing we had about 20 folks downstream cause it took em all to catch our beer, and supplies. Needless to say I bummed smokes the rest of the day:(

That's just nature telling you, ya needed a bath.:p

You may want to add a helmet to your drinking kit, a waterproof bag is a must. Some rope to tie the cooler down too, couldn't hurt.

I can tell it was a great time.

Thanks for sharing

Works for me. Did anyone make it over that little dip without tipping over? You guys were probably too hot anyway and needed to cool off.

LMAO  too funny T.

Glad the only casualty was a little ego & some smokes ;)

At least you were awake for the fishing :D

Next time, try to go around the rocks

If you had been there, it would have been easier;):D

cause I told em , "Thats just what I needed", and beer holders to boot!

True, but thats how violent it was;):D Had the dry bad and rope:eek:

My dry bag became a wet sack after it was dragged underwater for at least five minutes.

and the rope only held in the big cooler, but not much good for keeping in the contents after the top was ripped off. LOL!
