110 Idaho with G10 scales and S30V


G Greasepiggy Wow, a Victor 441 Special decal in your picture. A bike I've desired my whole life. I graduated HS in 1971, my memory is that was the last year and the displacement was bumped to 500cc. Could not afford one as a young man, then life happened and there were other priorities. Now as I start my 8th decade I have the wherewithal to buy anything I want but fear I've aged out... I feel much more mortal now.

For something a little different..
A pre-factory model 110 Skinner. I'm not sure when the name change from 110 to 103 took place. The late 50's group 10 model 110 has an ebony handle and the spacers are leather. Looks like the pommel has been trimmed. When you find these early ones you take them any way you can. I would date this 110 Skinner to about '56-'61.

Those are some lookers! Is the orange one from Scheels? I seem to recall they had an orange LT awhile ago, and now I associate that color with that store.

The orange 110 looks like the much missed SKBlades creation -- The "Fox" knife.
