Let's not split hairs here, let's split backs! - Post your whittlers

Anyone own the Case Classic clip master whittlers that were produced by Queen in the early 90s? Can you provide a review of their quality and execution? Thanks!

I’ve had a couple of them in bone handles. Pattern on them was 63083. I would compare them quality wise to the black box Winchester reproduction knives. Pretty nice knives. I would personally rather have a Case 6383 from the mid 1970’s or earlier.

Terrible time for this thread to pop up. been really missing my Caribbean bone 6347WH lately(traded it away in this verry forum eons ago...) and all my knife browsing had been whittlers.

I've spent this months fun allowance twice over already and its killing me I cant order a whittler! ;)

Even worse that the 47 whittlers are almost unobtainable and bloody expensive, I'll never find one I can get.

My one and only whittler is this gorgeous smooth red Rough Rider (whos scales seem to have moved a bit on one side over the years.. hmm. Used to be almost gapless.)

Its a twin tapered spring knife, but no wedge or even a liner between them. Uses a catch-bit above the springs at the tail end between the small blades.

I keep threatening to wharncliffe the main blade like a seahorse, which I've been curious about getting. But I never do it... Wharncliffe and sheepsfoot are my favorite profiles to use, but I just don't think I'd like such a large one. Too long, no control of the tip.

Then again if I can't find an affordable 6347WH then a seahorse is probably in my future.
