Anyone with a customized spyderco? If you have one, post a pic.

I'm thinking of making a damasteel blade for my Delica 4, and any inspiration or ideas would be welcome.

This is more of a pure edge modification than a customization, but you might be interested in it regardless. It's a project that taught me something about grinding about taking along a few more grains of salt with some of the advice I receive here.

I got one from a member here and it is on the way to be further modded. I'll post pics as soon as I get it back, as long as it looks good. I offered the modder to use his artistic abilities. He said he would surprise me. I sure it is going to look great.

Thanks. I really like how thin it is. Its really close to the thickness of my SS Police if you don't include the screws that slightly protrude out of the handle. I weighed it and it came in at approx. 149.5 grams or 5.27 oz.

I think that its probably a little lighter than that though. All I have is an old balancer and it turned out that a SS Endura 4 weighed the same as the Mini Manix with 4.25 pennies... so it wasn't a real precise result lol. My guess is that it weighs somewhere between the above mentioned weight and about 4.5 ounces.

It is the original handle with the outer color removed.
The underlying aluminum is then jigged to give the effect.
