Lets see some Hinderer action

From those pics I'd say it looks close enough. Looking for a recommendation for a buddy. I've only had one 0566 and it was a few years ago. Thanks Jonny.

Yes, but it's heavy, the 0566 weighs just about the same as the bigger 0562.

If the 0566 had the KVT bearings, titanium, and 20cv, it would be an absolute top tier carry knife
 
Hinderer Custom Flashpoint
My first (and probably only) custom Hinderer.
I really like this one. I’m a big fan of the Flashpoint and Spanto.

Still rocking my one and only gen 4 slicer.
I recently purchased a 1/16th ball endmill and snugged up the detent a bit. A small adjustment made a big difference in detent strength and flipping. It was on the weak side when I got it, now it's about perfect. I need some new washers though because I slightly pinched one on re-assembly, and they're showing their age. Got a fun project in a few months ago... gen 3 XM18! I converted it to a gen 4 stop pin location, compound grind regrind, beadblasted everything and DLC coated! Turned out great. The old stop pin location has a screw that just goes in the frame now, no pin present there on the inside :)
