Did my buddies XM no choil spanto he just got from DLT. I swear it reminds me of a sort of copper patina. Spanto is truly drop shut on bearings. I’d bet it would feel awesome on Teflon with that front heavy blade tho.![]()

I love hunting the secondary market. Just got this guy in the mail. BNIB Gen 4 Working Finish Harpoon Spanto with a textured carbon fiber scale and the teflon washers have been upgraded to PB ones.

I really like that carbon fiber scale, but the Dark Gray G10 matches the working finish so good. Which one would you guys go with?

What is everyone doing for replacement 3.5” skinny scales? I found a few searching online but seems most scales are for the regular XM-18 and not a lot of options for the skinny that ive found. Maybe im overlooking them? Ive heard the regular xm-18 scales can be shaved/milled down to the right thickness or is custom made scales the way to go? love my RHKs but need to change up my skinny to keep it interesting.

As of today, been waiting eleven months and fours days for Skinny specific titanium scales (or even CF) so that I can "make it my own". You can pull up a chair and wait with me. Fall isn't too far off and we can watch the leaves turn...but keep 6' away from me.

Are there any plans by hinderer to make some? If not I could probably do a run of them at some point...Haha I feel like I've been waiting with you sir. Lets pour a glass of Lagavulin and light a nice long cigar and pass the time. 6 feet apart of course haha.
But seriously I would go bonkers for a textured Ti skinny scale.
