Lets see some Hinderer action

HU: non-Hinderer knife picture.

Posting here for all you guys who like Hinderer and Spyderco. In many ways, this guy could have come from the ranch ....

Do yourself a favor and try one if you haven't yet.

Roland.

I want a Hinderer bad but I absolutely hate the g10 scales and micarra scales they come with. If I could find a xm-18 3.5 with a bronzed titanium clip side and a carbon fiber show side I'd be on it quick.

No sooner did I make that post and I found a hinderer xm-18 with carbon fiber in the classifieds lol. I now have a Hinderer on the way!

Fairy tales...can come true,
It can happen to you...

It's cpm20cv. This is the first knife I've owned with that steel and my first Hinderer. Anything I should know? Any information is appreciated.

I have many spydercos. I put my Shamans right up there with my xm's. In fact, my most carried knives are my xm-18 and my s30v shaman!

I have an M4 version I purchased from another member here who had dyed it a very nice blue, and it is an excellent example of the species.

Looking forward to the XM-24 becoming a new favorite.

Very nice score! I have a 3" non-choil spear in with the same scale and it's a great configuration.

you did grate, it took quiet a long time for me to find one, love the carbon fiber scales.
Took Me forever to find a hinderer I liked, then took me forever to actually find one for sale. The G10 and micarta scales make a great knife look unappealing. Thats just my opinion though. My only issue now is having to decide if I want to keep it on bearings or put the bronze washers in. I'm probably going to go bronze washers.

Personally, I didn't buy mine for the looks...well, not entirely. I like the pattern, the blade, the frame etc...and have learned that I don't like slippery grips...on my knives nor my guns...on or off the job (from which I am now retired). Really just depends upon both your perspective and intended use for the knife.

Beauty manifests itself in various ways. And as always, mileage varies.
