Lets see some Hinderer action

Still looking for a bunch of filler tabs without clips. Impossible to find without stuff on them. These used to be commonly stocked items. H is just not making them anymore without the clips.

DLT has 2 blue ones. Easy to make them stonewashed if you need.

Finally got the wharnie I wished I had gotten years ago.

So during the aggravating two-hour process of trying to center the blade after I swapped the scale I ended up breaking the head off of a handle screw. Borrowed one off my other Hinderer so I can at least use it in the meantime. But I'll still need another screw and nobody seems to stock them. So that begs the question: where can I get another stainless 3" XM-18 handle screw???

They won't be easily available from stores. Just send RKH an email ....

Are the 3" and 3.5" handle screws a different length, diameter?

Oh ok. I have a 3.5 inch screw for him. Thought maybe you could use a Dremel and cut a little length off, but if diameter is different then obviously it wouldn't work. Bummer.

So.. I have a dilemma... my Hinderer doesnt cut that great. I have tried to clean it up as best I could on my sharp maker (kill me). But at the end of the day the geometry just, isn't great.

SO! who does regrinds on Hinderer's nowadays? 🤣
It probably needs a reprofile and the sharp maker is only for touching up an edge and will not reprofile. Hinderer is not the slicest out of the box without re-profiling it’s more of working edge . A edge pro or equivalent will do the trick in the right hands ;)
Hinderers are great knives but this is something that is well known imo.
