FJBI just picked up this awesome Eklipse flipper this past week from a fellow member; carried this with me today for the first time on this beautiful Friday morning after 4 straight days of rain.
This is actually the first Hinderer I've purchased in a few years, and I'm really glad that I did! I've owned a few Hinderer XM-18 Gen 4 flipper's, but had always been somewhat disappointed with their weak flipping action. This tri-way pivot/flipping action on this Eklipse (my first), is phenomenal, and I absolutely love the ergo's!
But what I love most about this blue beauty, is that the G-10 scale matches my blue surf kayak perfectly. Not sure what the initials mean....some parent had been playing with her kid and that was their work, not mine. Great photo-OP though. LOL

I love everything about this. Our steak game is different but I respect what you've got going!I came home, cooked up a delicious bloody rare Waygu Sirloin steak sprinkled with some Himalayan pink salt and devoured it with a nice cold Stone IPA. Major thanks/kudos to,KKellogg for putting one of the nicest, wicked sharp edges I've had the pleasure of using.

I have a Hinderer newb question. What is the difference for scale fit between the Eklipse gen 1 and gen 2? I searched here as well as online. Did not find any useful info.
If you mean tri-way vs. non tri-way, there is no difference, the scales are compatible.
Thanks ferider. I am messing around with changing out scales on the Eklipse I have and in my searches, I have seen it mentioned on some sites, that the Eklipse scales they list are for gen 2 only and that they will not fit gen 1.
Have bronze on bronze.Anyone happen to have a Hinderer with a show side that's stonewashed bronze Ti scale + copper pivot and handle screws? I'm considering a project and I don't know if that looks as good in real life as it does in my head.
