I'm sure you will love it. It has awesome ergos and fits my hand perfectly.Well fellas, I have a project x on the way! Been wanting to check out one of these for the longest! I'll post some photos and thoughts once she lands (unfortunately in a week... Stupid holiday and ground advantage combo!)
I really like my Project X - I bought directly from Hinderer with the Blue/Black G10 scale and a Carbon Fiber scale as an extra, and might like the Blue/Black too much to install the CF; but maybe someday I'll git 'er done. It's very nice, and I like it more than my Eclipse or Jurassic (Tied with my XM-18's).Well fellas, I have a project x on the way! Been wanting to check out one of these for the longest! In other news - I have a Skinny Magnacut Slicer in Blue Ti Stonewash arriving tomorrow - I plan too install either my Battle Blue dog paw Ti scales with my dog's name, or (2) my OEM glow blue in the dark scale that I took off the slicer I sold toTerry M. , or (3) a blue Mokuti Damascus Ti scale.

Pro tip, use plumbers tape on your pivot screw so you don't have to worry about locktite curing and you can easily adjust itI looked all my spare XM-18 scales and decided to install the blue Meton Boss "Flamed Alien" Ti scale onto my new stonewash blue XM-18 that just arrived - ThanksEvan V. ! (I was mistaken, not Mokuti as I found out on their website, but still expensive Ti)
I also had a complete set of stonewash blue hardware for the skinny XM-18 (I don't think the spanner pivot/nut is made in blue). I took the opportunity to install a set of new Skiff bearings while I had it apart. I may have the pivot slightly tighter than usual, so that the blade will drop slow and controlled, but the blade is well centered.
I planned to also install my LynchNW service blue deep carry clip, but I think that would look better on a battle blue XM-18, along with my battle blue dog paws scale. I also have more blue hardware to go with the dog paw scale.

Trying to decide which pocket clip to use - LynchNW service blue might be too matte finish. Picked stock clip for now. Blade well centered.

Action feels good - I might go a little looser, but will need to dig out the tools and blue locktite again
The same teflon tape I use for changing my shower head?Pro tip, use plumbers tape on your pivot screw so you don't have to worry about locktite curing and you can easily adjust it![]()
Yep, works great! The same teflon tape I use for changing my shower head?

Sure do wish he would have added thumb studs or a fuller in the blade. Regardless it’s still on my listThis guy is worth the hype!
That is fantastic, where from? And do they do project x scales
Told ya so! I love the XM-18 just as much, but these two I like more than my Eclipse or Jurassic. This guy is worth the hype!
I agree, the project x and xm3.5 is my Hinderer Nirvana. And nobody likes an I told ya soTold ya so! I love the XM-18 just as much, but these two I like more than my Eclipse or Jurassic.
