Lets see some Hinderer action

Thanks brother. Went window shopping today, and stumbled across it. I have been wanting a 1911 that says COLT on it, and been looking at that particular model on line for a while. When I found it at the local gun shop today, I thought "what the hell" and I grabbed it.

Went to the range and put a couple hundred rounds through it with no issues, so It seems like it's good to go. I really like it. It's a sweet shooter, has all the features I want, and none that I don't, and it's more accurate than I am for sure.

Anyway, there goes my knife budget for the foreseeable future. 🙄
Nice ! I like to keep my knife hobby in check so I also periodically venture off onto other passions. When I return it rekindles my love for knives 👍🏻👊🏻
Nothing like the smell of a new gun !!

End result really liking it and color me crazy but I like the stock hardware on this one it ties in with the blade and keeps it simple.

Figured while I was in there I’d toss in my Skiff bearings

I have the same pivot tool set. I found that 2 Pennys work way better. You just have to cut a notch in one of them.

I’ve heard of that trick but never tried it . I normally use the Hinderer tool and works great but can’t find it and they’ve been out at local dealers and at Hinderer. So picked this one up on Amazon pretty cheap. If the pivot has loctite it’s a little tricky and I’ll use two mini screwdrivers to slide in the holes in the tool for leverage lol. If it’s an anodized pivot I’ll use painters tape on the face to protect the pivot .

Works like a charm and it’s the cheapest tool on the market 🤣IMG_5950.jpeg

Well I just thought of another option lol this should work good to 👍🏻 I’ll have some leverage and won’t have to try and juggle to mini screwdrivers in the holes so put some key rings in there similar to the Hinderer tool I think . The pennies are a great option though.

That’s a great idea! I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that. About to try and find some key rings around the house. I’ll probably still use a penny for the screw side because it’s softer than steel and less likely to scratch.

I had the first gen Fulltrack but it wasn’t for me. Beautiful knife but just didn’t feel good in hand for me. The PX feels like it was made for my hand it also pretty much disappears in my pocket and carry’s so well.
This right here is how it happened with me as well. Team PX!
