Copper hardware looks great but it's too soft. So make sure you don't disassemble it frequently.

It's dialed in perfectly with skiffs, no need to disassemble

My 3.5 Sheepsfoot is from many years ago, but it was the slicey-est grind before the Skinny was introduced. Pretty sure the edge I put on this one was 17dps for reference:

They look great in Battle Black too. Always regretted selling this one...REALLY hoping we see the new Skinny Eklipse in Battle Black or ideally SW DLC!

FWIW, RC Bladeworks has never disappointed me with Hinderer micarta scales.

Best 3.5 hands down for me is the Eklipse HS. still can't take this thing from my pocket. FWIW my hand always liked the Eklipse over the XM 3.5.

Eklipse is my favorite by far. Agree with
abbazaba
that it just fits my hand better. Don’t see too many Hollow Ground BPU Eklipse models that often. Possibly my favorite Hinderer.

Thanks, that was another Bladeshow special assembly from Hinderer. All of the ones I posted above have textured locksides except the BPU. I’ve only been able to snag them at Atlanta Bladeshow bc Rick just doesn’t do them that often online or with dealers.

Finally get to try out a Hinderer. I'm more of a slim edc knife user less hard use more home DIY and office stuff so I was able to make a trade for a skinny hollow slicer Eklipse 3.5 and I didn't know how I would like thr Eklipse, but its slim in the pocket and has a great slicy grind. Haven't decided if its a keeper so I keep flipping it at home trying to get acquainted with the size and shape.
I would love to try and XM-18 3.0 skinny slicer to compare side by side.

Whoever did the reblast on that one should have left it alone! Sad to see a survivor lose its patina. Please tell us all about this one and how you acquired it.

2. Wow, I got my Eklipse today. I thought I liked my XM but this Skinny Eklipse might be THE Hinderer for me.
