Lets see some Hinderer action

I brought the ZT version and never really looked further. I'm really digging the hollow harpoon blade. It's super slicey! The ergos on it are great!
The ZT version seems like a winner. Would love to have one but the prices on those are crazy! Sure wish I would have grabbed one when they were still in production. Congrats on the new blade bro have a great weekend!

Yea I got a great deal on mine years ago. Have a great weekend as well buddy!

I don't come around these parts nearly as much as I'd like, but figured I'd post a pic or two. I have one of those ZT 393s on the way in the mail too, with a BGM regrind! I've been wanting one of those for a long time.

Just an fyi,
They (0393GL) are still in production, they go for $340, but still a decent amount cheaper than a Hinderer.

Think they were talking about the 92.
Yeah I was referring to the 0392. I probably should have said that, my bad. I honestly forgot that the 0393 even existed. Thanks for the reminder, might pick one up soon to try it out.

Nice revolver and Hinderer combo!

I have two Hinders and I am about to purchase a third...... I love the knife almost as much as my CRK's.

One thing I cannot figure out on the Hinderer is on the lock side toward the back end of the handle, just ahead of the two clip screws, is a square notch-like recess with diagonal grooves....... what is that for? I can't figure it out and it doesn't look like a natural place to put a finger when holding the knife.

Thanks.

I think they call this lockbar relief. Some frame locks (like your CRK) have it on the inside, some, like Hinderer, have it on the outside. That's how the factory adjusts the lockbar tension. Without it, you couldn't bend the lockbar - it would be too strong.

Roland.

Having the lock bar relief cut on the inside is a huge plus for the CRK’s. I don’t carry my Hinderer tip up because the cut out makes it way too hard to remove the knife from my pocket. The material of my jeans gets hung up on the ledge in that cutout. Striders have the same problem. I can’t figure out why they would make them like that when the inside cutout on the CRK’s is so much better. Maybe Chris Reeve has the rights to that?

A quick question. Finally found a hindder when I had cash . It's just a working finish half track in magnacut. Is there any way to put a lanyard on it ? I have edc a small sebenza for 14 years . I want a lanyard if it is possible.

Halftrack, right ? Unfortunately not, AFAIK.

Sure you can! Tie a lanyard to the standoff in the back. See Below... Love Halftracks, they are little tanks!
