There is NO way he would have been the success he is today if he went forward with basically a BRKT with a huge narrowing of the overall width created by the choil and thumb grove creating a weak spot right in front of the handle, and ergos that work for like 3 people out of 10.
It's a piece of history and valuable for the physical representation of Guy's product development, but it's not a knife I see and say, man I wish I could order one like that!!

Honestly though, I was not trying to say anything negative about the piece itself, it's actually quite awesome for timeline creation.
And really does illustrate how far Guys designs have come.
