Let's see some pics of your best (grail?) GSO!

Psybull-AKA the S! historian :D

I like that one better Psybull!

Still great historical pieces. Have you considered writing up a nice timeline thread where you show them in chronological order and share the details you know? Would help share your collection with the forum!

Thanks JF
I could do an evolution of the proto 5 to gso 5 to 4.7 and the proto 5 to 5.1 convex to 1st gen and 2cd gen.
The proto 4 to edc4 but that's as far as I could go as I don't own a gso 4 1st gen or have a 2cd gen on order[will work on it though].
Will have to wait on a detailed write up on those as most are at the shop getting some Guy attention.
The one thing on the proto 5 that I can say is that it is .210 inches thick, plenty strong even with the thumb and choil notches. Also the proto 4 is .188 inches thick with a fully supported convex edge which makes it almost as heavy as my 1st gen 5.

Please do the thread. People will be happy to get you pics to fill your gaps. The newer ones are not hard to find!

And .210? That's more than the 10!!!!

I'd be willing to send my coated SK-4 as a GSO-4.1 substitute, but someone else might be willing to send the official thing, and I have a 2nd-gen 4.1 on order that i could submit.

Thanks.. I actually traded off the old spec 5.1 last week for a Fiddleback Forge Camp Knife.. As much as I love my GSO's I thought it was a pretty good trade

Where did that one pop up from? You sneaky so 'n so ;)

I traded the GSO 6 and some cash for it. I got this from Ben over on the FB page. I think he's bennieboo on here.
I'm really impressed with the 7/7 but I'm curious how well it'll baton with the swedge. I'm betting that it'll tear up the baton really quick!

Yah, that will be a real problem, possibly a safety hazard. You should pass that over my way for safe keeping 👍👍😉

If i had to pick one as a grail I'd say it's probably my numbered 6, thou i love em all. 😍
