Hey I figured I'd toss this one up. A pic of what I like to call my rescue pets. These are all second hand.

So from top to bottom:
My two soldiers, 79 (older than me) and 01. These are care of YYC security, but both were pretty neglected. filled with tile grout or cement of some sort, took lots of cleaning. The 79 got very chewed by its previous owner, looks like it was sharpened on an angle grinder.
Compact, Just got this one, its been one I've been after for a while, finally got one at a reasonable price. the blade was pretty chewed, someone used it as a screwdriver, so the tip is a bit bent, but I'll leave that. The edge has some nicks like it was twisted. Not a big deal, didn't have to take much off to get it to good. Scissors are a bit nicked, so need to work on them a bit, and it needs a spring, so I have some on order. But given what they cost new, and what I paid for it, I'm well ahead.
Pioneer settler, another YYC find, great little knife, and well loved, but in great shape. I'm sad someone lost it, but I'm happy to be able to look after it.
Huntsman, Again with YYC, great condition when I got it, must have been near new when lost. Love this one.
Mountaineer, Just pulled this one cheap off the bay, very neglected. Almost never used, just enough to dull the blade, but carried, very gummy and corroded, took some hours to get it clean enough, I figure the oil will soften the gunk over the next few weeks. Not sure what I'll do with it, but its a cool one to add to the collection.
Blue Farmer, This one was another cheap bay grab, took a bit of deciding, but its a carrier now. Love how beefy it is.
Climber, Another cheapy from the bay, probably sold to replace instead of having it sharpened. really like this one.
I suppose I could send some of them in to get rebuilt, but a couple scratches don't bother me. I figure its a shame to let a SAK go to waste.
