I received my new condition Farmer (53964) the other day in the mail, along with a Victorinox 2-4 layer pouch (33247), it was a good day. :D
The dealer I bought it from, shipped it in a small bubble envelope with no other protection, so the box was damaged during it's journey to my place, it's not that big a deal though.















Is it normal to have chipping along the edges of alox scales on a new SAK?.
 
Yes, it's not uncommon for the newer ALOX knives to have tiny chips along the edges.

I had ordered myself a Victorinox Cordura Belt Pouch (33214) as well, and a set of blue 91mm scales from SwissBianco, for my Fieldmaster.

Edit: I'm sorry if I'm not able to mention SwissBianco, I'm assuming that I can, since they have a manufacture's forum here at BladeForums.com.
