Jason Cutter Australian maker. Sorry can't remember the steel off hand it's one of the 10 series, but I tell you what, it's razor sharp!! with Buckeye Burl handle.

It is a nice piece of fossil/ancient walrus ivory tusk. Here is a better photo. I only posted the other one first because it shows the true shape a little more accurately..

Coop, I love your image, was just refering the the angle. The recurve and blade shape seem a little different in that photo because I think we were trying to get the damascus to show up a certain way.. but Don's was higher and less dimensional, and shows the profile a little more close to how the knife looks to me. The knife looks a little straighter in your image then it does in person (to me). Not sure why. But don't feel bad, you know im a huge fan of your work and will be a life customer. :)

EDIT- I think Dons may have looked a little more pointy and longer, so I thought it was appropriate for the fighter crowd. Did not mean to imply that your work isn't great.

Jon,

The dark background (and less lighting) in Don's shot hides the clip, so that gives the different blade profile look. I think the image angles are similar. Either way, a great one to have in the fighter thread!

Joe, I agree. I was just looking at them for a while side by side. The shadow in Coops makes the recurve look a little straighter (maybe?). I think if we shot it from higher up and just focused on profile, the details wouldn't be that good. Coops shot really captures the texture and color and everything amazingly.. I was also bugging him to get the damascus at a certain angle when he shot it and I wasn't really thinking about the profile from a distance.
