The Solo is my favorite single bladed folding knife. I'd REALLY like one with the reversed flat head/bottle opener that I think only one or two models.
I wanted to like the Pioneer and even used it to put a shed together, but the blade lockup is just too mushy for me. I also don't like the shorter ricasso on the bigger ones. The Solo and Bantam really snap but the Bantam's combo tool doesn't work too well on bottle caps OR screws. Oh well. A single bladed 84mm would be sweet!

An alox version of the Mechanic would be VERY sweet! I'll bet that it's quite possible if you find the right modder. Here's my "Deluxe" version of the Farmer with added pliers.

How did you add the pliers without replacing a tool on that side? Was there a spacer, since there were three on the other side?
