I hope its not poor form to question without a pic... but I have always been curious about the performance of the damascus relative to the 30V... I have wanted to buy a damascus for some time, but this one question has prevented me from pulling the trigger...

I have always wanted a damascus mnandi.

I've noticed with my Devin Thomas stainless damascus that it holds a better edge than any of my s30v or bg42 blades. It also is more resistant to chipping.

Im very impressed with Devin Thomas's Stainless damascus.

I think this looks awesome. At the same time, I wish they would do an exclusive that included some rare Damascus if possible. irregular patterns or colors even.
