Lets see them edc's

Mine (Fenix L2D, Vic Spirit, Buck Alpha Dorado  and Spyderco Manix.) And, actually, RR, I got the Buck and Spyderco exactly for the reason you stated -
an edc should double as a knife that can handle basic wilderness related tasks

I don't normally carry the Benchmade AFCK.

here are a few of mine. i like to rotate. the bark river isn't in my edc set up though it is in my murse (aka man purse)

and lately i have been carrying this since i got it. though the phoenixx is just a tad to big for edc but i been making it happen in a horizontal kydex sheath i made for it. its a great knife and the swiss army is one of my new favorites so much utility in a small package.

The Culberson EDC is one I prefer paired with a bigger blade. However, as a small, laser sharp slicer it actually sees most of the attention while camping. Chores - cutting rope, fishing line, carving notches for potholders, sharpening sticks, filleting fish. Its small enough to be small and big enough to make a bowdrill kit if called upon to do so.

I have high hopes for this new one by B. Andrews.

I rotate these two in the pocket and on the belt a Swisstool RS and mini maglite.

Come on Scott, get yourself a good LED...look...even Doc uses an LED flashlight:D I do like your utility blades...they look like they are begging for work!

I need to get an updated photo. I don't always carry the WM-1 or U2 and I've swapped the Leatherman Charge with a Vic Swiss multitool. The Emerson CQC-8, Spyderco Mil and Mad Dog PATAK are going strong:thumbup:

This was my civi-winter EDC:D

Hey Rock, my mini maglite is upgraded with a Terra Lux LED bulb, 140 lumens. It's bright. ;)

Here's mine. Took this shot when it was pretty new. 1080 and lignum vitae. The knife's got a lot more character now!

Edit: actually, I know the rule: pics or it didn't happen. Here's the "character" I meant. :D Plus, I realized the sheath would hold MORE light and MORE fire. Sweet.

Ooh, that's a really nice one, Ken! Reminds me of a Grohmann, but with better curves.

Here is my standard EDC - a little fixed-blade carbon scandi with a padauk handle. I have carried this just about everywhere for a few years, and I love it.

Lately, I have also been experimenting with this lockback that I made from a kit. This was a case of finding (making) a knife to fit the pants, as my girlfriend brought me a nice little leather sheath back from a recent trip to Mexico, and I didn't have any appropriately-sized folders.

All the best,

Today this is what I have in my pocket. The SAK Manager. I work in an office setting. I have a larger SAK at my desk, but my EDC is the Manager.

It varies from day to day, but the few things I always have with me are my Suunto X Lander Military, wallet and HEST. Now in the summer, a SS water bottle is always packed... not much thought goes into it, just grab and go.
