Forgive me for the picture heavy post... But my BSBM finally became a stripper!
Tried to etch the "BUSSE", but I don't think it took.... Applied/reapplied every 20-30 mins to allow the etchant to bite into fresh metal- left the last coat on for an hour. did that for a few hours while I tinkered on my truck.
Can barely tell what this is supposed to say... but I can't really complain with all of those beautiful dimples.
Like butter..... until you hit the CBT, then it became a PITA.
Semi-Final product.
I had debated on polishing this up to a high shine.... but I really like the way it's looking now. I think the dremel took care of whatever decarb was laying around underneath the coating- but this thing looks and chops so much better now that it's nekkid.
