I ended up rounding the tangs on both a bit . They are both now a nice 6 pull but with plenty of opening snap but easier on the close. Not such a bear trap and much more pleasant to use

I was fortunate to be able to purchase a few Schatt & Morgan original laminated HJ's this past summer, along with a few others that have not been posted here. So here goes......

John W. Schatt has credit for inventing that punch!! Nice find, Dave!!
I have looked all my Harness Jack career, and never found one fully intact like that one!!

Sorry for the delay, had to run into town for the really old guy flu shot.

I do believe that you did have one Charlie, because this Kutmaster I acquired from you and the punch sure looks the same to me.
Perhaps, just like the Schatt I'm gonna post here in a couple with a Robeson punch the different manufactures used each others punches, blades, can openers, liners, bone ect. ect. ???
